Calle Santa Sofía

Well, I’m going to attempt a 30 Day Challenge… that is, I’m going to post at least a new photo every day for the next 30.  We’ll see.

So, day number one I figured would be as good of day as any to introduce you to our new home on Calle Santa Sofía… a nice quiet little road across the street from the Women’s University, Universidad Femenina… or Unifé.

Our home is really fantastic for us… with more room than we could ever need, a great backyard for the boys to run around in with beautiful plants.

Inside we’ve got great living spaces to host our friends, new and old, our family and who knows who else that will come to visit.  More on the inside later on.

Houses here in Lima are almost always enclosed behind a wall with gates and ridiculous numbers of locks.  Often times there is barbed wire and or high voltage electric fencing along the tops to keep out any unwanted guests.

We don’t really have any of that because after a few robberies a while back, our neighbors got together and hired some security guards… like my new friend, Ephraim.

So, welcome to our new home… Calle Santa Sofia No. 145.
