Our First Visitors

Late last night, Continental Flight 590 landed in Lima like it does every night… But last night was special because it brought us our very first visitors.  Were are stoked that Stacy’s parents, Steve (AKA Grandad) and Sharon (AKA Gran) are here, even if it is a pretty short trip.  They just get to stay until they fly out late on Monday night.  FYI, Continental flights to Lima leave every afternoon and get to Lima some time around 11 pm… and every night an overnight flight leaves at around 11pm headed to Houston.  Anyways, while they’re here we’ll be doing some regular day to day things and sharing some of our normal every day life with them… and also trying to squeeze in as many fun touristy things as we can.  But, let’s be honest here, we all know they didn’t come to see us grown ups… really it doesn’t matter what we do as long as they get to spend time with their two youngest grandsons.

Well… I haven’t been doing so hot at the whole taking lots of pictures thing… but since I don’t have any of Gran and Grandad yet, here’s one of a recent trip to the barber shop.

We found a fantastic place in Jockey Plaza, the local mall, with cars and toys and all kinds of distractions just for kid’s haircuts.  Look, the pink car was the only one available.  If you happen to be in Lima with little kids any time soon, I highly recommend Safari Cuts… I think that’s what it’s called.
