Ongoing Financial Support
We are currently seeking ongoing support of $1,200 per month to complete our budget for living expenses and working funds.
One-Time Financial Support
The expenses of moving to and getting settled in a place like Lima, Peru are significant. We are currently lacking $7,800 from completing our budget for our relocation and settlement fund. These funds are alotted for one-time up-front expenses like airfare, visa fees, shipping expenses, temporary accomodations, housing deposits and beginning furnishing our home.
Also, we currently have a gap in our funding for living expenses and working funds for the six months between October of this year and April of 2010. It is our aim to fill this gap with $7,750 in one-time contributions.
How Can I Give?
We are excited to say that we are now taking advantage of a service called eGive. This allows our supporters to give one-time or recurring contributions online by automated bank draft. Funds are transferred directly from your bank account to a fund in our name at our sponsoring church.
To get started giving online, just click here. The process is easy and should only take a few minutes. Just two important things to remember… You will need your bank account number and your bank’s routing number. So, you might want to have your checkbook handy. Also, when you get to step 4 of the “Make a Gift” process, be sure and put “The Yoakum Family” in one of the “breakdown” boxes.
